Trench Shield

A trench shield is a steel-framed box with two vertical side plates permanently braced apart by cross frames or struts, to provide a safe working place. The use of trenching shields or trench boxes helps ensure safety in the pipe laying, contracting and construction industry.
The trench shield is 7m long x 2.5m high and 1.4m wide. The width is adjustable.

Well Points and Dewatering Equipment

Wellpoint Dewatering is the most versatile and common form of dewatering. Dealing with the low flows from silty sands, to the larger flows from course sands and gravels.

Wellpoints are installed (jetted in) using high pressure water at approx. 1m intervals on each side of the trench or working area to be dewatered.
